Summary: .hack//LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT is the latest addition to the .hack phenomenon. This manga takes place about 4 years after the video games and the occurences of .hack//LIMINALITY. Shugo and Rena, twin brother and sister, win the character types for the legendary .hackers, Kite and BlackRose. After logging into the world with their new characters, Shugo encounters Aura and is given the bracelet worn by Kite in the video games. From here, the mystery of .hack unfolds once again.

Commentary: I really loved .hack//SIGN and the video games, so I decided to check this one out. I read the first manga in about 20 minutes and rushed out immediately bought Volume 2. I really love the characters and the drawing style. I've also watched the anime, which, like the rest of .hack, has great music and beautiful animation. The anime, however, is different from the manga. It was still really good, but it left out one of my favorite characters, Zefie. I'd be sure to check out this title, and if you like it, watch the anime, but know that it is much different.

Reasons for Rating: Great animation, intriguing story, wonderful characters, the only downfall is that those not interested in the video games may miss out on some aspects of the story.
