Summary: Some time has passed since the ending of Fushigi Yugi. Miaka has found Tamahome again and everything seems happy. However, Tamahome is suddenly pulled back into the Universe of the Four Gods, and the adventure starts again. After finding Konan and speaking with the new emperor, Tamahome finds out that 50 years has passed since Suzaku was summoned, and for some reason, the country has fallen into disarray.

Commentary: I loved Fushigi Yugi Seiryu, so, of course, I wanted to see what happens next. I can't tell you how happy I was that Miaka and Tamahome found each other again (I'm a sucker for that sort of thing :) ). Though Oni was not up to par with the first series, it was an interesting next step that I'm sure FY fans will enjoy. Also, the mini-episodes between each OVA episodes are pretty funny (some really funny, some kind of stupid, but overall, worth a good laugh).

Reasons for Rating: Perhaps not as well thought-out as the series, but it gives people who really enjoyed the series another look at the characters.
