Summary: When Kyo found out that she would be going to Seisyu High School, she was incredibly happy. She eagerly opens her the package containing her uniform, looking forward to wearing a school uniform renowned by girls' magazines for being one of the cutest girls' uniforms. Unfortunately, when she opens the package, she discovers a boys uniform and finds out that her father has enrolled her as a boy, hoping she will become a member of Seisyu's renowned boys' basketball team. At try-outs, she meets a boy named Chiharu, who immediately gets on her last nerve. Imagine her surprise when she finds out that this boy will be her roommate. Can the situation get any worse for Kyo? (And do you really need an answer to that question?)
Commentary: Though I absolutely hate the title, I really like this manga, though I will admit it's not an original concept. I was surprised, however, that I would enjoy a sports manga this much. I really like the animation, and I love the characters. Though not completely, original, the story does have some surprising twists, and it is definitely a new take on both sports manga as well as "girl-dresses-like-boy" stories.

Reasons for Rating: Great animation, I love the story and
characters. If all you're wanting is a manga about a girl who dresses
like a boy and all that sort of thing, there are many other stories
besides Girl Got Game. But I would still check this one out, because it
has much more to offer than the same old story!
