However, STN-J does not seem thrilled with their new recruit.

Commentary: I first saw this series on Cartoon Network, and immediately liked it. The one thing you miss out on by watching it on Cartoon Network is the great opening song. Be sure to check that out sometime. There are a few things that really impress me about this series. First of all, it's intriguing, and a very new concept. It is a little slow-moving, but when the action does get going, LOOK OUT! Second, the English dub is very close to the English translation of the Japanese dialogue, so good job! In addition, I like the English voices - they're very similar to the Japanese voices. The only characters I kind of wondered about were the voice of Amon (I wasn't sure I liked the English voice, but it's really grown on me - it's not that he doesn't do a good job, it's just that it was a little different than I expected), and the voice of Sakaku (but this one doesn't bother me too much - I'm biased, because it's the guy who does the voice of Vash in the English translation of Trigun). All in all, good work on a great series!
