Summary: Yusuke Urameshi is a school-skipping, street-brawling, all-around juvenile delinquent - he is also dead, having been killed after pushing a young boy out of the way of a car. No one saw this one coming, not even Underworld, and so no one was prepared for Yusuke's death. For this reason, Yusuke is given a second chance at life... on one condition - that he become the Underworld Detective for earth.

Commentary: Yu Yu Hakusho the manga is a lot like the anime, except that it contains other stories and adventures that were left out of the series. Though the story remains intact without these stories, I think that anyone who likes the anime should check out the manga, to see new adventures and learn new things about the characters. I also love the fact that the manga are reasonably priced (only 7.95 each!) and once you buy up all the books they have out, you can keep reading by checking out Shonen Jump (or if you're patient, you can wait for them to publish the rest in book-form) I think this manga could also be enjoyed by those who do not watch the anime, because it's action-packed and funny with great characters. I highly recommend this title to anyone!
